Hoping to land a job

Not sure where else to turn. Trying to learn effects software for employment.
Through bootcamp assistant on my Mac, I have installed Windows 10. However to activate it, it says I need a product key. They cost $139, through Microsoft legit. I only need it for a day or two. Is there any Windows 10 free trial? Or if anyone knows of a way to obtain this.

With the program I'm trying to run, I think there is media that goes with it. I'm guessing that I'm not getting it because Windows is not activated.

Its actually a license that they let you use.

Is there a reason you're being coy about what program that is?

I am not aware of any connection between Windows activation and any third-party software.

A lot depends on which Insider ring you choose. The release Preview ring is currently in the final stages of testing 1909. That's near enough ready for release with not much more risk of crashes than the currently released 1903.

You may also consider being a Windows Insider, others can give you more information about that.

Windows 10 Home and Pro is not like other Windows. In order to comply with the EULA, the user must activate the installation immediately, there is no grace or trial period (paragraph 5 of the EULA).

Also, in order to be a Windows 10 insider, the user must first have a license for Windows 10.
