Windows 10 Pro disk from e-Bay

I was hacked on Face Book about a week & 1/2 ago. I had ordered a Windows 10 Pro disk from e-Bay & it has on the tag for OEM, I don't see a COA tag # anyplace. I'm wondering if this will work on my machine. It is an upgrade from Windows 7 Pro about 1 1/2 years ago. Will this be legal & work if I try to install it. I did the recover thing & lost most of my programs which I reinstalled from disks I had.

This tutorial might apply to you if the Windows 7 has been legally activated:

    Hi,
OEM just means it can't be transferred to another machine
So it has one machine limit
If it's good at all it should activate oem or not.
If not just report to ebay fraud.

I hope that it's not the sort of OEM disk that would be used with a Windows 10 appliance PC.

Those have a license key embedded in the BIOS. You could install Win10 from such a disk, but it won't activate.

If you just wish to install the original version of Windows 10 on the same hardware, you shouldn't need a key at all. You have a digital license on Microsoft's servers.
