Failure to install Windows 10 on a new SSD

I have problem installing Windows 10 on a new SSD.

I formatted the drive with GPT partition style, created necesary partitions as described by technet site:
MSR, System, Windows partition and Recovery tools partition.

Now the error message when attempting to install to Windows partition on SSD is "we couldn't create a new partition or locate an existing one".

I followed several advices found on google, such as disabling secure boot, enabling UEFI+Legacy mode (CSM)
setting up boot priorities, swithcing flash disk to USB 2.0 port etc.
currently SSD can only be set as non UEFI boot disk in BIOS, probably because there is no system installed on it yet. I don't know.

I'm installing Windows 10 x64 1903 from USB flash drive, I tried to boot from USB in both UEFI and legacy mode, no difference.

    How should i proceed?

    Current BIOS settings:
    Boot mode: UEFI + Legacy
Windows 10 WHQL Support: Disabled (needed to enable CSM)
    Secure boot: Disabled
All PC components recognized by BIOS, Except SSD available only in legacy mode, but not UEFI

    my system:
    Mobo: MSI H310M PRO-VDH (ms-7b29)
Storage: 480GB SSD + 1TB HDD (Active Windows Boot is on 1TB HDD in UEFI mode/ GPT)
    1x16GB Memory CL17 @24000 Mhz Single channel
    CPU Intel 3.6 Ghz 4 cores i3 -8100
    GPU NVIDIA GT-1030 SDDR4

Hi - you don't create those partitions yourself.

A clean install is to unallocated space on the disk, and Windows creates all the partitions it needs.

Please follow the clean install tutorial, deleting all existing partitions at step 14.
    Clean Install Windows 10

This addresses creating the Win 10 bootable disk, and using it for either a legacy BIOS or UEFI installation.

To install Windows as UEFI-GPT you MUST boot the installation disk as UEFI-GPT.
To boot the installation disk on a USB Flash disk as UEFI-GPT, the USB Flash disk MUST be formatted as FAT32.

How did you downloaded the Win 10 installation disk? Do you have it on a iso file or it's on a USB flash disk?

Does your computer that you are using a Win 10?

Thank you, The problem with letting installer creating partitions is that installer will not "slow" format the partitinos but will do a "quick" format, I always format the drive myself using diskpart and it always worked except now with SSD.

Anyway I followed your advice to let the installer do a format just to see if that will work, and installation indeed works but once it restarts I'm not able to boot from SSD to continue finishing installation. that is Windows is half installed.

I tried with F11 boot option and manually selected SSD, but it only allows me to select it Legacy mode and it won't boot.
I'm only able to boot from USB installation drive and old Windows from HDD. in UEFI mode of course.

From the tutorial I quoted - did you do this? - In your case UEFI
    3. Boot to the UEFI firmware settings for your motherboard, and enable or disable UEFI or Legacy BIOS (CSM) mode for how you want to install Windows 10.

Ok, since now I have been installing with CSM enabled, that obviously didn't work not even with your suggestion to used installer provided partitions.

I now switched to UEFI mode only and installing with installer provided partitions, it's installing now, we'll see in few minutes the result!

Ok, the bios does not let me choose ssd in UEFI mode after first restart in windows installation so I choose UEFI boot from old HDD, and got presented with 2 boot options. and it booted from SSD automatically.

I'm now finishing installation, but I'm wan't to know why my SSD isn't recognized in UEFI mode as boot option? do I need to finish installation?

Ok I finished the installation but, my HDD is being used for boot, the super powerfull Windows installed did not create EFI/Recovery and system partition on my SSD. looks like it continues to use these from HDD.

This is why I preffer to do this stuff my self, I'll remove HDD and repeat the installation.
    Anywhay thank you for help.

It seams that you have installed in one disk but the boot loader is on another disk.
Did you detached ALL other disks from the MB (disconnect the power or SATA cable), leaving on only the SSD?

Start over again. Detach ALL other disks from the MB (disconnect the power or SATA cable), leaving on only the SSD, boot the installation disk as UEFI, go to install - advanced and delete ALL partitions on the SSD till you have only one unallocated partition and proceed.
