    (14) I'm a little confused with these instructions. I originally downloaded the Media Creation tool to my desktop and created an ISO file as per instructions by other posters... I've been using this ISO file in all my attempts to update.

Are you wanting me to download the Media Creation Tool again? When I downloaded the MCT it wasn't clear to me if I was downloading Windows 10 or just the Windows 1903 update... or is there a difference?

    (15) I have already uninstalled Avast but do I need to uninstall Malwarebytes and SuperAntiSpyware too?

    (16) I'm using Windows firewall.

    (17) Not sure what Microsoft Drive encryption software I would have. As far as non Microsoft Drive encryption software would AnyDvd qualify as software that needs to be uninstalled? How about a program like Cyberlink PowerDvd 15?

    (18) I don't understand how to do this since$Windows.~bt\Sources\Rollback\setupmem.dmp is not already in One Drive or Drop Box?

    (1) Ok not being able to see an example hope this is what you mean.

    (9) I tend to shy away from update the BIOS & Motherboards without detailed help so I don't screw something up. My MB is a ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 https://www.asrock.com/support/index.asp?Model=Z68+Extreme3+Gen3

    (10) & (11) done

    (13) I don't know how to post a share link into the thread?

    14) When downloading an iso from the Microsoft website please create a bootable Windows 10 flash drive?
I'm not sure how to do this?

    (4) Sorry but I don't know how or see any options to upload the setupmem.dmp file to OneDrive which I do have.

    (5) I only have one flash drive over 8 GB and I'm in the process of downloading Windows 10 to it. I live in the boonies so I'll need to order another flash drive from Amazon if you deem this necessary?

    (9) Will do once downnload finishes.

    (10) I will if you can explain how?

Sometimes a Windows upgrade fails with the most up to date Windows 10 iso despite many troubleshooting steps.
When this happens an in place upgrade repair is then performed with the identical Windows version.
If this is successful then an in place upgrade is performed with the most up to date Windows 10 iso.
This requires two flash drives, one with each iso version.
Alternatively the iso version can be made by altering the single flash drive with another download.

For setupmem.dmp see if you can right click > save to downloads folder and or desktop > then upload to the cloud

I'll just order this just will take a couple of days. Once I get it you're wanting me to put a Repair Version on it?

    https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Ultra...s=gateway&th=1

You mentioned Windows 10 ISO is this what I put on my flash drive didn't think it looked like an ISO file?

If I right-click on setupmem.dmp there is no option to save. I can use Send To to send to Desktop or Dropbox will this work?

setupmem.dmp has AnyDvd as the program to open it but this isn't right... what program from the list opens it?

    - - - Updated - - -

Ok is this what you wanted?

    Dropbox - setupmem.dmp - Simplify your life

These are links for older Windows 10 iso:

Windows Download - #1 Windows ISO Download Source
Microsoft Windows and Office ISO Download Tool
    TechBench by WZT (v4.1.1)

An older iso is used if the newest iso fails and then the newest iso is tried again.
If the older iso fails or if the older iso is successful and the newest iso fails then plan reset save files or clean install.

There are Panther logs that are created with each upgrade attempt.
    They may be troubleshooted.

Setupdiag should be run after each upgrade attempt.

More troubleshooting steps are planned before the next upgrade attempt.

For small size flash drives you can use USB2.
    The cost saving is small.
For large size flash drives with the transfer of a lot of data you may notice the time reduction.

    Setupdiag is downloading now.
It will be debugged to see if Windows was able to identify a misbehaving driver during the upgrade.

I'm not even seeing Arcsoft Total Media Theater on my computer and thus I can't even uninstall it... apparently at one time I did have it though. Can I just delete this arcctrl.sys file?
