the MC tool "DVD"cannot be used later for a clean install!

I just read this in another post

Night Hawk VIP Member "The dvd if you saw that burned right away using the MC tool cannot be used later or at any time for a clean install! That can only be done by the USB Installation Key. "

    Is this
""The dvd if you saw that burned right away using the MC tool cannot be used later or at any time for a clean install! That can only be done by the USB Installation Key.""
    a true statement ?

Also is this still applicable =
Night Hawk VIP Member "The other guide I wanted to point you to explains how to create a bootable iso disk image from what gets placed on the drive. What this one explains is how to use another tool you have to download in order to convert the ESO file into an ISO. The 10 installer tends to leave some files like this one lying around for options like the PC Refresh or you can see to ir a bootable iso makes it onto a flash drive. I upgraded a Windows 7 to Windows 10 desktop using Media Creation Tool "Upgrade this PC now" option. Then I used the Media Creation Tool to burn a DVD with and did a clean install by booting the computer from the DVD. Worked just fine, permanently activated and skipped entering a product key during the clean install.

Thank You for the quick and informative reply.

I thought you could use the DVD. Just wanted to clarify the above Quote.
