Updated to Windows 10 1903

Hi

I updated my HP notebook to Windows 10 1903 yesterday and I must say I am impressed, the update went very smooth and finished without issues... Only thing I was not keen on was the new very light desktop, so I changed that back to the old darker one...

I have updated this since version 15** and up until the last update and this one always had an issue with one HP driver which I needed to fix, but the last two have gone perfect.. although it did take 4 hours from start to finish

Glad it went well. Typically a 'planned' upgrade using e.g. an iso file without accepting updates as part of the procedure is faster- the updates will occur later.

Bear in mind that even your internet speed can be a factor- with updates, you could be downloading, say, 7Gb..

Agreed, use the ISO file method.

Every time you update you`re gonna have to some recustomizing, it`s totally normal and par for the course

I did not know that :) I always use the WU method, then again I do plan for it and expect up to 4 hours based on past feature updates .. All seems to be working well so far.. :)

During the update it did stick on 27% for about 30 mins and I started to worry lol.. but did a search and it seems the "27%" thing is common.. once it started again it went fairly quick..

I always have my daily Macrium Reflect back up if I needed it :)

Next update, download the ISO file then open it with windows explorer and click setup, it`s that simple.

Then keep the ISO file and the MCT for that particular ISO in the same folder.

I will try that next time :)
