Well it did work before the update but now there is nothing. The window pops up with search at the bottom but no icons, everything is blank and if i type i anything to search for an hit return it just completely ignores it.
Please post your exact Windows build number. Sadly it's not a forum requirement, so we have to keep asking for it....

It's too late I uninstalled it. I will wait until Microsoft sort the issues out.
The thread you point to certainly seems to contain all of the problems I am getting.
Search is not working at all and even though I never use Cortana it still registers as using 22% of my CPU pretty much all the time. Search has gone mad!!
