What would you have done with win.old?
I would have recuperated some files accumulated in the Downloads folder, and also a Folder "Installs" where I keep... my installs execs (highly important because I have several installs for dedicated programs). Also my desktop configuration. And the installed apps - not to use them somewhere of course, but to check whether I (will) have all of my apps on the updated configuration.

Actually, I don't see much to write home about differences between the former 1809 and the 1903 build. And the Microsoft applets are as clunky as before. Ah, well...

    Best,

    signing off,

The reset save files or reset save files equivalent allows you to recover all files.
The backing up of files may appear redundant but in rare cases they are needed.
Drivers and applications need to be reinstalled.

Everything has been done. Constant backup on Google Drive. Drivers have been checked. All is okay. Thanks for taking care.
