    Windows 10 boot record issue

    Hi all,

I can boot into Windows 10.

I have found issue is with boot record.
I have found that when I boot into Installation drive for windows 10 and go to cmd prompt and do a bootrec /rebuildbcd I get the message Successfully Scanned Windows installations. Total identified Windows installations : 0. The operation completed successfully.
    I then decide to do

    bcdedit /export c:\bcdbackup
    attrib c:\boot\bcd -h -r -s
    ren c:\boot\bcd bcd.old
    bootrec /rebuilddcd

    but when I try attrib c:\boot\bcd -h -r -s I get an error saying c:\boot not found.

Any ideas how to solve issue?

    Thank you for all help.

A screenshot of disk management would help.

Found out if C:\Boot\BCD store exists by executing Dir /a C:\Boot\BCD command.

On most systems the BCD is in a separate partition than the c: Windows partition.
