    Very much doubt bios has anything to do with not being able to update.

    That said you can go to Asus and get BIOS. I believe you have a X541UVK if I read correctly.

    Manual will tell you how. Read instructions twice and be very patient.

    I think there is an issue with caddy. You disk shot looks perfect. Is there any switches or software that get set with caddy?
