    F9 secure boot problem.

I brought this previously used laptop from a friend of mine it's a 250 G6 notebook and the windows on it was kinda old and lagging so I wanted to download a new windows but the F9 which takes you to the boot select doesn't show me anything and I can't open BIOS settings to change it because I don't have the BIOS password so does anyone know how to get that password? if you do please do tell or at least let me know how to get it my self, thx.

plus I read on the INTERNET that there's some kind of a way to get it if you have the code that the BIOS gives you after three wrong trials so if it's true in anyway that's the code : it looked kinda like this [i 74659074].

    Welcome to TenForums @yh153

You filled in your computer specs as an HP 250 G6. Apparently the code you need is 10893871. See this post on the HP forum....

    Reboot and enter 10893871

    Hi,
How long did you remove the cmos battery for ?

You would also need to hold down the power button for 1-2 minutes as well
Maybe even lease the battery out over night.
