HELP upgrade to 1903 and screen is squashed in on the sides

I tried upgrading drivers from device manager, windows said ran into a problem.

Without a full screen display, the PC is not one I want to use for windows. The sides are missing 3 inches on each side, so its just black there.

In windows 1809, had no problem, screen image filled the monitor space fine.
If I knew this would happen I would not have allowed the 1903 upgrade/

Hi, please complete your system specs, including manufacturer and type. (See mine for comparison).
Noted your graphics card is old, but apparently Nvidia says it should be ok under Win 10:
The GeForce GTX 260 was a high-end graphics card by NVIDIA, launched in June 2008.
Was 1903 offered via Windows Update, and is that how you upgraded?

You could try getting the driver manually:
Install only the driver for Nvidia graphics cards - gHacks Tech News

    Apparently you neeed this driver:

You can 'go back to previous' within 10 days of the upgrade, or at any time if you have a recent disk image of your previous build.

Yes, was offered, so I said ok to the update.
It is apparently stuck on VGA resolutions, not SVGA.

Monitor is also saying generic PNP monitor, yet it is a 1920 by 1080 display, but I do not have such resolution selectable in Display settings.

Can I revert to 1809 easily? I better do it quickly!

Go Back to the Previous Version of Windows in Windows 10

You have 10 days, so you could try downloading the driver..

(Or up to 60 if you wish:

Well, I downloaded the driver from nvidia website and it uninstalled the non working driver, installed the correct working driver and the screen is FIXED. So much nicer to see it back like it should be. Bummer that windows update could not give me a working driver.
