    Did you try disabling the Zotac video card as I suggested in the other thread?

    As I replied: The GeForce GT 240 is in a different computer, this is my Dell laptop.

    I wouldn't think so. The issue is that Windows needs to know about everything before Upgrading which is why a clean computer is necessary, no infections or malware, etc. Windows also needs to know about all the resources, drivers, etc., which are not all loaded in Safe Mode. Safe Mode is more a diagnostic for when things go bad.
