    Windows 10 1903 USB

Has Microsoft released v1903 to download so we are able to make a bootable USB Drive?

I don't think it is out there through official channels in final form, but I think you can find it elsewhere in its current state.

    Maybe here somewhere:

    UUP dump

General release is supposed to be late this month.

If you have access to MSDN (now called Downloads -- My Visual Studio) you can grab some of the ISOs from that source, to wit:

Otherwise, as @ignatzasonic averred, UUP is your best bet.

As Ed mentioned, it is available via MY Visual Studio Subscriptions. Thats about as official as it gets. As far as I know you won't be able to get it that way with the basic free Dev Essentials subscription though. Mine is Enterprise (NFR).
It's not up on the Media Creation Tool yet as far as I know. I haven't run the MCT in a while though.

    Hi there
UUPDUMP is the best method for non MSDN subscribers and "non insiders" - the iso's are all as official as it gets (the iso creation process is automatic)

Actually even for insiders installs often work using the UUPDUMP method when the "standard" method via WU fails.

I've just downloaded Feature update to Windows 10, version 1903 (18362.86) amd64 for Windows 10 Pro x64 using UUP Dump.

A fast download and easy, automatic creation of an ISO file ready to install.

    Hi there @RickC

    Thanks

remember I think when installing this release to remove external USB disks and any SD card -- after install the attached devices will function again normally --there was a problem with installing this release I think with external disks attached -- might not have been this one but I think it was.

    Cheers

Many thanks for the info, @jimbo45.

I always install 'Feature Update' versions as clean installs and there'll be no external devices (or SD cards) until the installation is complete.

    Hi,

Has anyone noticed about the size of 1903 clean installation via UUP (auto .iso creation)?

I had clean installed 1903 pro (18362.30) with no internet access on installation. The size of all installation was about 17GB (no apps of mine), when we all know that a typical Win installation (with no internet access), takes about 12GB of disk space.

Then, returning to 1809 (backup), I followed the upgrade method (keeping apps & settings) and the result just surprised me... With all my apps included (about 1GB), installation took even less space than 1809 did, totally less than 13GB.

I think that the size difference appears because UUP files contain previous Cumulative update files.

The problem on clean install is that Disk Cleanup utility cannot find Win updates files to delete or merge so, installation takes about 5GB more space on disk which cannot be found and delete, for ever... Of course, that could happen only to me although I've tried twice (clean install) with the same result.
