    Clean Install Question

    Hi All

Do i just stick in a Ei.cfg or a PID into my flash drive sources folder prior to a clean install of 1809 or 1903 in the future? i know if i do a system clean install of 1809, then later upgrade to 1903, then i'll avoid i think the Reserved storage coming with it.

Some reason on desktop machine though it always picks up my Windows 10 Home key embedded in UEFI bios, when i bought Pro June 2016, usually i have to enter Key after setup, to get the Pro upgraded, ideally i'd like to be on Pro from the get go, and then can proceed with driver installs, etc on my Asus G11CD-K Desktop

Over the course of last few months did the following

Changed antivirus a few times, trying to decide which one to stay with, Avast Free or Windows Defender--Choose Windows Defender finally
Added Secondary hard drive, restored image only of D Drive, (Replaced Original Toshiba 1tb, with Western digital 1tb black drive--Not sure if really was needed) as last time I restored both C SSD and D drive, ended up stuck on Windows 10 Home, for some reason
    Removed/Reinstalled a few games
Missing some Intel System device drivers, for example thermal subsystem, system runs fine though, so maybe not a big deal
Feeling like maybe time soon for a clean install yay or nah?

Missing some Intel System device drivers, for example thermal subsystem,
    - if this is an older system and you know you have some driver issues, then the further you progress in using current Windows builds, the more likely this will become a real problem.

You might try Safe Mode and see if your system overheats or not.. just a thought. I had a Vista laptop that ran Win 8 in normal mode perfectly, yet overheated in a minute or two- in Safe Mode.

Well hasn't overheated as yet, this machine was bought in September 2017, so i would think it would still support Windows 10, not sure why Asus doesn't update the chipset drivers or hardly any of them though, If i have to i got funds left to have a newer machine built or something.

Highest temp it got to in 15 minutes of Prime 95 was 80C, which seems fine as Thermal junction is 100C for my processor

in gaming highest temps get to is 74C, sometimes 78 depending on room temp

Not sure why that driver is missing, as should've been there since my last clean install
