    Let me see if I can get someone else to look at this. I think we're missing something and another set of eyes will help.

    Samsung will send you a replacement drive, if that drive is the culprit. Possible Motherboard or Power supply problem. Look at other hardware areas, do not just concentrate on a single device.

    Hello ztruker, sorry, somehow I missed your post. Just started to checking into the bios today. Its seems I'm using the latest unless I use the beta version. Beta may introduce more issues.

    Here is what I found at Gigabyte:

    What do you think?

    Bro67 said possible power supply issue, but it powers on everytime, just doesnt always boot past the Gigabtye logo screen. Wouldn't that eliminate it being a power supply issue?
    Thanks

    i guess i have a similar issue

    Lenovo Z40-70 Laptop

    Windows 10 Home
    Version 1903
    OS build 17763.379

    Problem;
    Already cloned SSD is installed on laptop (Samsung QVO 360 1TB).

    When Restart is invoked (either by software update and/or via start menu)
    System stuck in bootloop of PXE-E61

    When accessing BIOS during this error, SSD not detected !

    When Shut Down is invoked, and starting up afterwards, error does not occur

    Problem is re-producible

    Acions :
    - Disable boot to LAN -> same issue and
    - update bios -> same issue

    Todo:
    Set BIOS to UEFI and no LEGACY support

    Containment :
    Recovering from for bootloop is to turn off/shut down using power button
    afterwards system boots properly

    And always perform shutdown from Start Menu or Power Button i.s.o. Restart

    Background info:
    SSD (Samsung QVO 360 1TB ) was cloned using Samsung's Data Migration Program

    All 3 partitions were enlarged using the Cloning Software

    Any hints already to get this fixed? its quite annoying when machine restarts by itself
    and stuck in bootloop when im not around.

    @kodockz,

    In order to convert the SSD to boot in UEFI mode you more than likely are going to have to replace the 500 MB NTFS system partition with a FAT32 partition. Keep it marked as active and it can be configured to boot in either legacy BIOS or UEFI mode.

    Not really sure what else to try to fix intermittent boot problems.

    Your problem would be hardware failure. You do have a five year old laptop that the motherboard is about as much as getting a Newer unit.

    Thank you guys for your help. Since the BIOS update has been in Beta since 2014, and I read other people who have updated to F2j and rolled back because they didn't like it, I think I'll replace the Mobo. I will post back with results. If you have any other insight on this pls let me know.
    Thanks!
