Having two cores helps a lot. I also have a single core AMD V120 - that runs W7 fine, but feels like swimming in treacle in W10

I've upgraded two vintage 2006 PCs to the latest version of Windows 10 for free from Windows 7. Windows 10 requires support for particular instructions to run the 64 bit version. One of my PCs was OK and installed the 64 bit version whereas the other PC didn't have the required instructions so I installed 32 bit Windows. I can advise you of the instructions which need to be supported if required. You also need at least 3GB RAM.

The PCs were quite slow until I installed a cheap SSD system drive which made a drastic speed improvement. Both PCs are quite usable for web browsing, office apps, emails etc.
