My flash has no asterisk on the GPT column, so it's MBR. And I need to get through those steps and make my flash inactive to be able to install Windows on that GPT disk. Right?
    Active flash = MBR
    Inactive flash = GPT
    Right, again, please?

Sort of. Inactive flash drive will force the drive to be booted in UEFI mode, which will then work with your GPT drive. Active flash drive allows the option of booting it in either UEFI mode or legacy CSM mode. We are simply eliminating the legacy CSM option.

But when the flash was active, I got that error message for any option I chose.
One time, I think, when I chose UEFI, only the motherboard logo, ASUS, showed up and nothing changed. So I had to get back and choose another option.

That was likely with an NTFS formatted flash drive.

I inactivated the flash. Yet, it has no asterisk on the GPT column. I try the flash this time. And if no success, I will get back and make it active again and try UEFI.
I set the BIOS settings as default. Thank you.

I finally could install Windows 10 x64 using UEFI but needed to wait for about one minute on the ASUS logo (as I mentioned earlier) so that the wizard turned up. Thanks.
But one weird things. This updated version doesn't include Edge! But IE instead!!
    Do you know why, please?
    IE is deprecated I assume.

Also, now the hard disk appears as removable devices on system try! Isn't there any way to work it out except updating BIOS?

That is strange, but you don`t need Edge anyway.

Are you positive it is not listed in the App list under M ?
