MAR and MRR are two different programs.
Thanks. I've bought several MAR products so have stickers, documentation, etc... not MRR.

MRR is for the little repair shops that wish to resell computers "leagally" like my self. I dont have a "shop" any more but I always buy refurbs from Newegg or others that are supplied by MAR's

Has 25 characters just like a standard COA.

Those are from a Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher (MAR) NOT a Microsoft REGISTERED Refurbisher. (MRR) like the sticker the OP has.

“Refurbisher affixes a refurbisher COA to the refurbished PC.” Microsoft’s words not mine...
It wouldn't surprise me if that applies to MAR's.
I've bought many refurbished computers over the years and the stickers on them that looked like the images that have been posted.

I don't know the requirements for MRR's but that's what you probably have.
Can you contact the refurbisher and get them to activate what you bought from them?
--- I’d like to believe they should be able to tell you over the phone what product key to use to get it activated.

Go back to post #2 and use the ShowKeyPlus link Bree provided.
--- Find out what ShowKeyPlus reports.
--- Instead of trying to change a Windows 10 Pro non-existent product key you might be able to use the Windows 8.1 Pro key if ShowKeyPlus records it. I'm not sure how yet, but at least get the ShowKeyPlus information.

So are mine because I get them from sellers who get them from Microsoft Authorized refurbishers. (MAR's)

Should of came with a printed copy of the key provided by the Refurbisher. If you did not receive that paperwork than you are out of luck.
Thanx. but that's shocking... the whole idea about the COA sticker is it's authenticity - like the watermarks etc in banknotes. Without a key it's useless.
