    Creating a bootable drive

I am going to be using a Clickfree backup drive as a Windows 10 bootable drive.

Does the bootable mage need to be burned onto the drive or can the file just be copied?

Are you talking about creating a bootable installation drive or a full version of Windows which will run off a bootable usb drive?

Run off a bootable USB drive.

After booting I will be using Winntsetup to attempt to copy a hidden Recovery .wim file onto a partition.

I would use Rufus which has option to create a boootable version of windows.

I used to use wintousb from Windows To Go Creator, Data Recovery, BitLocker For Windows, Mac Linux, PC Utility but it charges now for 1809 apparently.
