Hello i have a acer aspire 4315 2904 laptop 32 bit operating system with windows vista it has 3 gigs of ram intel Core 2 dou T5750 upgraded cpu from a Celeron cpu with a upgraded one Terabyte hard drive had it upgraded from windows home basic to windows home premium 32 bit operating system.
So i need to know can i upgrade the cpu and install windows 10 on this dinosuar?

In my experience, on older hardware Windows 10 runs at least as well as, if not slightly better than Windows 7 on the same machine. If you click 'My Computers' below this post you'll see my 'System Two' runs 32-bit Windows 10 on a similar spec CPU as yours. In fact the benchmarks for your Intel Core 2 Duo T5750 and my Celeron Dual-Core T3100 are almost identical. It's not the fastest machine in the world, but it's more than up to the job of running Windows 10. In fact it feels smoother and faster than the manufacturer's OEM Windows 7 it originally came with.

You could just leave the CPU alone.
I would install SSD, you will notice change.
Usually Crucial is pretty accurate, it says max memory is 2 Gigs. I was looking as I was going to suggest going to 4GB.

3GB is just enough, think 2GB is recommended minimum for 64.
You could just use the Media Creation Tool, create a USB Thumbdrive with 64 bit version and clean install it. I assume you have an image of present system so you can restore. Clean deletes data !!

To activate you will need a license but you can install without and try. If you had old ssd around to test with will give you a more accurate feel.
I have Win 10 running on a XP laptop Dell 630 and one for Vista HPdv600. The Dell has 4GB with a 2.1 GHz Duo and is okay.

Personally I'd stick with 32-bits. It's less demanding and will feel faster on older processors.

The OP said it had already been upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium (32-bit). If that is activated then it can be upgraded to Windows 10 Home (32-ibit) and will get activated with a digital licence.To activate you will need a license but you can install without and try. If the OP has a spare drive available, then I'd make an image of the current system, install the spare drive, restore the image then upgrade that Windows 10. Once it has activated the PC will have a permanent digital licence to run Windows 10 Home. They could then try a clean install of 64-bit Windows 10 and it will activate automatically from the digital licence. A digital licence is valid for both 32 & 64 bit versions.
Like the approach last paragraph. I used this approach to upgrade from 7 to 10 in December on a laptop.

Couldn't he just install Windows 10 Clean and key in his Win 7 license key.
Not just $100 or whatever for a license...
Then there's the question of compatibility. Win 10 may well work. On my Vista laptop upgraded to Win 8 it overheated very quickly- in Safe Mode! Normal mode was ok.So i need to know can i upgrade the cpu and install windows 10
For £200 I bought a 2nd hand Lenovo with a higher res. screen, i5, 256GB SSD, 8GB RAM and Win 10 Pro (albeit OEM). (Also has SIM and fingerprint - and USB3 of course).
There appears to be some confusion in the OP. It says Vista, then goes on to say Windows 7 Home Premium.....
