I finally found it:
Communication page | Windows system builder licensing for personal use
And
https://devicepartner.microsoft.com/...ing_Guide-docx
The license for OEM System Builder's Edition (which comes on DVD, btw. Full retail Windows 10 comes on a USB flash drive) prohibits using it on a computer that you intend to keep for yourself.
Thanks all. Great info. I think I understand the wacky pricing now.
What do you think of this?
On Amazon: this is the obvious legit license product:
But also they have this (notice it is through a re-seller):
My question is whether any deep discount product is not to be trusted or is it possible that it could be a legit license.
(I'm just curious, not trying to make everyone uncomfortable)
I looked on the Amazon site. 2 questions I would have, because their details are a bit sketchy.
1) Are either or both Retail license, or OEM? Big difference in price Between the two.
2) One of them said OEM Builder and was stating a July 2015 date. What version is it? 1508? 1809? 1803? 32/64?
They both are legit or Amazon would be in deep-deep. I would get some more exact details on those 2 you posted before making any assumptions they are the same.
