Windows 10 SATA drivers not in .exe format

    Good day to all!

I would like to install windows 10 on my asus laptop but once I launch the installer the program complains about not finding driver for SATA and no disks are detected. Is there a website where I can download the drivers not in .exe format? I have tried on the Asus website without success.

    Thanks

Welcome to the forums. Unless the drives are something special 10 has all the drivers for data so there is something wrong maybe a corruption of the DVD

Check BIOS setup utility to see if Sata drive detected by computer.

Try disconnecting all SATA devices, but disk. Additionally try to connect it to the different color/brand SATA.

By the way, what ASUS motherboard do you have?

Something similar happened to me a few days ago. I was installing from usb and w10 installer said I was missing some drivers (disks weren't detected either). I changed usb port and everything was fine then.

Thanks. Actually managed to solve as I rebuilt the USB drive and changed port and this solved the issue.
