What is this? Boot Manager identification please?

What is this?

I mean, I know WHAT it is, I just don't know
how it got on my system:

Around EOY 2015, I purchased this new
computer replacement. It's had this boot
manager in place since purchase. But. I'-
ve never really needed to use it, much.

Now, I do have a need, and what I want
to know is:

1. Specifically(identify supplier) what is
this boot manager known by.
Did the desktop manfacturer/
retailer activate/install this pr-
oduct?

2. Any other information supplied that I
might need to acquire a copy,
to install on a companion lap-
top.

I just can't remember all these different
boot interruption key patterns any more,
and don't want to dig for them when ne-
eded. That's all.

That looks like your machine's boot options.

Enter setup and set the priority up again and save it.

How old is device ? Might need a new CMOS battery. (Looks like a coin, most are CR2032. It will be printed on it)

Sorry, I guess I wasn't clear.

I know what it is, and I know how to use it.
I was just wanting to know if anyone recognized the
boot manager product supplier, and where I could
gain another copy for a companion laptop system.

But, this copied I've imaged is working just fine.

Anyone recognize this boot manager ?

With one or more of these methods there should be more information about the drive:


1) Open disk management > by default there are two compressed columns > widen each Status and Volume so that the characters in each row are in full view > double check Status and make sure that the letters within the parenthesis are in full view > post an image into the thread

2) Open file explorer > this PC > post an image into the thread

3) Open administrative powershell and type or copy and paste:

a) Get-PhysicalDisk | Select -Prop DeviceId,FriendlyName,SerialNumber

b) (copy and paste all commands at one time)

4) When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread

Post a share link into the thread using one drive, drop box, or google drive

It looks to be a builtin part of the PC bios chip program, so you cant move it to another PC. It is programmed into the BIOS.
What your seeing is the boot option menu to select which drive the bios will use to boot the PC.

zbook: I've reviewed your instructions, and for the most part I kinda' understand. But, I'll have to work slowly on that because I'm old and unlike you, I'm not a guru member. I will answer you this though:
. I know screenshot well
. I'm not a scripter, but frequently use Powershell.
. I'm also a Ccleaner licensee, quite familiar with Speccy.
. I'm also an AWS cloud(aka drive) subscriber(your share link reference)

Now, tell me what we are about to gain by proceeding through these steps. Sorry, my ignorance prevails. Although I some-
what understand the individual pieces, I don't understand the overall outcome. Also, due to other commitments, this will
have to wait until into the weekend. In the meantime, I'll experiment with your instructions, which will probably/maybe answer most/all of my questions.

The prior post steps were to find information on the drives and see how that may relate to what is seen in the BIOS.

You may be right, although it's a UEFI system, rather than BIOS, I catch your drift.
The "boot option menu" came on the computer. it works well, pretty simple, and
I just wanted to replicate it to a companion laptop. I know I can satisfy the same
functions using the boot interruption panels initiated via key sequence. But, I don't
want to have to retain a different key sequence for any system. The "boot option
menu" that I've posted here may well be firmware related. But I know that there
are software implemented boot managers available. I just though this was one.
