    Windows 10 Creation Tool

Just a quick question to be sure considering I am getting older and forget more often lol.
What is the date of the latest Windows 10 1809 file?
I have one a few months ago and was wondering if I should download a newer version if there is one and place on USB.
I plan on formatting and install fresh within the next week and didn't want all the latest patches to come after.

    thanks

The Media Creation Tool will create an ISO or USB that installs 17763.107. The Setup.exe on the root of this ISO/USB is dated 29 Oct. 2018.

If the Setup.exe on your install media is dated 15 Sep. 2018 then you have the original 17763.1 release with that fatal bug in it, you should download a new ISO now.

A clean install using the 17763.107 media can check for updates as part of the install, if you let it do so you will get the cumulative update to 17763.253. If you don't, then either check for updates after the clean install, or you could get the standalone installer from the Update Catalog and apply that manually after the install.

I just checked the install.esd file and it do show version: 10.0.17763 ServicePack Build: 107 Created: 10/29/2018 Modified 11/13/2018
But it displays Name: Windows 10 Home
    Description: Windows 10 Home x64
Is both Home and Pro included in this one?
My Win 10 Pro was first upgraded when 1809 came through in WU back on 10/02/2018 so I never used this copy yet.
I don't remember getting the option to select Windows 10 Pro to download.
just want to be sure :)

The Install.esd for 1809 should contain Home, Pro and Education (and their N versions) plus Home Single Language.

Dis you use DISM to query the contents of the Install.esd with /index:1? Leave out the /index option and it lists all editions contained in the install.esd (or install.wim).

If you used the /index:1 option you get the info for just the one edition the index number refers to. For 1809 index 1 is Home. Index 6 is the one for Pro.
