I saw that one a few times since others have posted it all around and tried it to no avail whatsoever! Once I went browsing guides and stopped by to review the clean install guide and saw the part about non OS drives needing to be unplugged I looked and found 10 has placed boot files on one and the BT and WS folders on the other! Son of gun! You can tell that made my day! Then it was a matter of unplugging and that to do this and that and....

The second the second upgrade went on and I saw the downloads were still in the downloads folder from the first failed installation attempts while the sound did actually work at first things went much better. I won't be planning to keep this upgrade however but will take the time to nuke 10 and see a fresh install go on after 7 gets one on the other drive! That still has the 2013 clean install there to replace! Hopefully you will also consider seeing to a full clean install despite the second attempt still running fairly good upgrades vs clean installs leave a lot to be desired! They like to take the hidden problems along with them!
