Doing fresh 1809 install, got message " partitions not in the ..."

I have to do a completely fresh install, so I wiped the SSD clean and for good measure converted to MBR and then back to GPT.

My install is completely vanilla except that I an installing to a 256 GB Windows partition out of 465 GB total on this SSD. So when i checked on INSTALL, I got this weird message:

"partitions not in the recommended order. Go to Microsoft Corporation and search for GPT. Continue?"

Like what choice did I have. The install procedure automatically created these partitions: 1 – 15 MB MSR (reserved)
    2 – 499 MB –Recovery
    3 – 100 MB System
    4 – Primary 255.4 GB

    Unallocated space 209.7 GB

So do I really care? Or should I do some complex operations with MiniTool Partition Wizard to fix the order?

It really doesn't matter. You should have just wiped the SSD and installed Windows 10 to the completely unallocated space. Why do you want to leave 209 GB unallocated? If you still wanted that unallocated space, then shrink the C: drive partition after installing Windows 10.

That un-allocated space is most probably a space for SSD's use Samsung and other SSDs need.

Well, I'm glad I don't need to keep any unallocated space on any of my SSDs. If I pay for a 476 GB SSD, then I expect to be able to use 476 GB of it!

It's needed for SSD's good and it's proper and longer operation. Even if you don't see it, there's still a space allocated and you did pay for it. Samsung just made it visible so it can be adjusted by using Samsung Magician.

Agreed. So this morning I used MiniTool Partition Wizard to wipe the SSD clean, and then re-installed Windows in the entire Unallocated Space.

later I will re-install the MiniTool to shrink down the C: partition. I use that unallocated 209 GB for two other partitions. My 'general data' partition and my 'music, books, and photos' partition. I keep Windows and programs separate from my own files so that WHEN (not IF) Windows goes south, I don't lose all those files.

I assume you mean Overprovisioning as shown in Magician? I don't use it but Magician is set to allocate 10% of unused space on my PC.

I have a Samsung EVO 860 500GB. OP was not set. I just did the Set Over Provisioning and it took over 46.58GB of the drive. Since I still have over 200GB free I'll leave it, since Magician says:

How does OP increase lifespan? I have a 3 year old Samsung SSD which still shows Good Health (whatever that means) after writing 5.9TB.
