surface RT windows 8.1 model 1516 Needs Win 10

Happy Christmas .

I bought a surface RT windows 8.1 model 1516 complete with the backlit keyboard second hand and want to clean install windows 10 . The device works as it's supposed to but I hate the OS and the fact I cant get 3rd party apps such as comodo ice or fiefox , VLC ,MPC .winrar etc etc .

I suppose there is only one question : Can it be done ?

ive created a win 10 USB and performed cold boot holding the power+ volume down ,the surface logo appears then thats it , nothing happens .

You can’t. Windows 10 cannot run on a Surface RT (not will not, cannot — the architecture of the Surface RT requires specially designed software to run on it, and Windows 10 is not designed for that device).
