Does Windows Update assistant block the 1809 if known issues?

    :) was glad it went well, my machine was not on the Acer's list Windows 10 Creators Update & have stayed away from checking for updates & running on metered connection for awhile

    Of my four machines that are successfully running 1809, three aren't even on their OEM's list for running the original Windows 10

    I must have been lucky as well on PT at 1300 I clicked on WU and there it was.

    nice to have backwards compatibility built in, if it were Apple it would be a new machine every couple of years

    The rollout does seem to be gathering pace since PT. Many are now reporting getting 1809 by clicking 'check for updates' in WU. Did you check for updates, or was it already there when you opened WU?
