Well my older PC just got the 1809 update today. I've had no issues with the update, so far. My newer laptop has not yet received it.

I manually upgraded to 1809 back when it was first released on Oct 2nd. I've been running it since then with no issues, so I wouldn't expect you to have any now.

On your older PC, did 1809 arrive automatically without you doing anything? Or had you clicked the 'Check for updates' button in Windows Update and then it was offered?

Thank you for replying. Yes, checking for updates will only find 1809 on a few machines at the moment. Microsoft are slowly ramping up the number of machines that can find it that way, as I quoted MS as saying in post #2. Your other PC should see it sooner or later...

    Microsoft said:
...For those advanced users seeking to install the update early by manually using “Check for updates” in settings, know that we are slowly throttling up this availability, while we carefully monitor data and feedback.

Welcome to TenForums enway, glad to hear the update went smoothly for you.

Can I ask you the same question? Did 1809 arrive automatically without you doing anything? Or had you clicked the 'Check for updates' button in Windows Update and then it was offered?

Thank you. It seems that increasing numbers are getting 1809 when they check for updates. I asked because I am trying to determine if the automatic rollout through windows update has started in earnest yet. Seems like few (if any) have got it automatically yet.
