    New Notebook - Fresh Install

hi, new HP Pavilion laptop came with Free DOS, now want to install Win (UEFI), but won't let me because it is MBR on SSD. Do I have to delete those partitions (HPDOCS and Free DOS) to continue?

You could consider converting the disk: from the tutorial section

which you're free to browse and search:

You will want to press shift+F10 to open a command prompt. Then run:

    diskpart
    select disk 1
    clean
    convert gpt
    exit
    exit

Then highlight the unallocated space on drive 1 and click next to install Windows to.
