thanks , I will
I have question directly related to this as well. I've been following this tutorial to add drivers to an offline image:
https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/95008-dism-add-remove-drivers-offline-image.html
Can I add drivers from multiple systems to this same image?
In other words, let's say I add drivers from a laptop and a desktop computer to the same image that was previously prepared for unattended install. When I then perform my unattended install, will Windows go through the normal plug and play process and detect which drivers are appropriate for which system?
I just have a few systems here at home and my goal is to create one unattended setup media that has the drivers for all of these systems so that I don't have to create a separate one for each system.
Note that I have already looked through all the tutorial information and did not spot an answer to this question anywhere.
Excellent! Thanks.
I can't tell you how useful these tutorials and the help on this forum has been.
I have a great deal of experience with Windows, going all the way back to Windows 286 (yikes!) but have just never had much need for messing with unattended setup. Just finally started playing with it in the last few days and I think I've spent probably close to 16 hours a day if not more playing with it. I can't stop!
