That's right!. Windows 2.1. It's a little crazy to think of all that has changed since the early Winodws and DOS days.
Frunobulax, Windows 286 and 386 were so named because of the ability to use specific features of the Intel 80286 and Intel 80386 CPUs back then (frequently simply called the 286 and 386). In case you are interested, here is more info:

You mentioned Windows 3.1. That was a special version for me because Windows 3.1 release day was actually my first day working for Microsoft where I did Technical support for over 10 years. I remember having to spell A-U-T-O-E-X-E-C-DOT-B-A-T and C-O-N-F-I-G-DOT-S-Y-S like a hundred times a day. Also, manually configuring interrupts and I/O addresses, because plug and play (or plug and pray as it was called in the early days) didn't exist yet. Manually optimizing memory usage was another fun one. Then there installing Windows NT and Windows 95 from floppy disk. Try doing that over the phone for hours on end!
Funny that in all these years I never really seriously played with unattended setup.
