Clean install with Microsoft Account question

    I do like the way that the Microsoft Account Sign-in method automates everything through syncing which was the main reason for my posting regarding how Favourites/Bookmarks are handled in Windows 10 during Windows Setup after a clean install...but I also used to like using a Local Account for the same reasons you stated above. For me since Windows 10 Ive always used a Microsoft Account but prior to that I was exactly the same as you..I always had a local account and just switched the Local account over temporarily to a Microsoft Account if I needed to use it for the Store etc

    I login with a Microsoft account on my Desktop and my Laptop. Syncing keeps them nicely aligned. I've not seen any drawbacks to using a MSA.

    I also have a local account I can use if I want but I have not done so in several years, no need.
