Can't Boot Windows 10

I have built a gaming computer and installed Windows 10. Everything was working fine for a couple of hours. The only thing I can figure is that when I plugged in a wireless mouse it messed something up. The mouse wouldn't work while in Windows 10. I got the infamous Blue Screen of Death. It tried to repair itself but didn't make it past 67%. I haven't been able to boot into Windows 10 since. I have tried everything it seems. Now when I get to the Installing Windows window, It copies Windows Files, but when attempting to Get Files Ready For Installation it fails. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

First I would get a new copy of the installation media using the MCT tool. Currently this is V1803

I just use the USB Thumbdrive Option

Then I would follow this tutorial. I ASSUME there is no personal data on machine. As such make sure you delete all partitions on existing boot drive. When you follow this install process only have your boot drive connected.

Clean Install Windows 10

As this is a new machine did you run a memory test once the build was done. It not start there. While not frequent new memory can cause issues.

Now I’m getting unallocated space 0MB

Please explain exactly what you have done so far and when you get the unallocated space 0MB message.

I turn my PC on and it pulls up the blue Microsoft Windows 10 screen to intsall. I go to install and enter my product code, select custom, it asks where you want to store windows. And below that it says drive 0 unallocated space 0.0 MB total size and 0.0 MB free space. I go into command prompt and select drive 0 and it says that there are no partitions found.

Did you run memtest86+ ?

Only follow the following if you have nothing on disk you need to save on the entire physical drive.. Disconnect all drives except your boot drive.

Boot with your boot media. On the very first screen

Press Shift + F10 (You should get command Prompt)
Diskpart
List Disk (should show your boot disk as disk 0)
Select Disk 0
clean
Convert GPT (I assume you are booting UEFI)
Exit
Exit

Now continue your install. You don't need to delete partitions as suggested in tutorial. The above has wiped it. You should see your drive as all unallocated space. Basically step 13 of the tutorial

Now I am getting a black screen that says Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key when I first try to boot.

How did you create this boot media?

What is your boot media, an ISO (disk) or USB Thumbdrive

When you say you are now getting a blank screen... how did you get here.

Did you boot from media, clean the disk, the disk reported space, you ran the install and on first boot it fail.

You are setting the necessary boot sequence in BIOS, with secure boot off?

It’s a USB drive. I downloaded the Windows 10 creative tool to a USB drive. I start up the computer and hit f12 to go to the boot menu and select SanDisk (my usb drive) and that reboot and select proper boot device screen comes up.

Transfer the Media Creation tool to the computer you are using now, then find it in File Explorer and double-click it.
