    Hi.
    I have not been able to update the system to the latest version for a long time, in my desktop I have installed Windows Home Version 1709. Compiling the Operating System 16299.547There were problems installing some updates, but we'll try again later. If this problem persists and you want to search the Internet or get technical support information, see: Function update for Windows 10, version 1803 - error 0x80070005The latest Windows feature update is ready for installation. We're waiting for you to initiate this installation. Thanks to these improvements, Windows will run smoothly and safely. Select this option to initiate the installation:

    That is a permissions error... you may want to logon as built-in Admin to do the update... it may not fix the the current permissions corruption though... a clean install will.

    I upgraded the system from DVD media, Processing of the update came to 98% and then I made a blue screen code to stop IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL.

    It seems there are still access issues...

    The IRQL error is a memory related error that often appears if a system process or a driver attempts to access a memory address without proper access rights.
    Try running chkdsk C: /f /r (assuming Windows is on C) Run Check Disk from the Command Line to Find and Fix Errors

    Some other stuff to try... IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL – Fix for Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10

    I run the command "chkdsk C: / f / r" and nothing happens

    Please post the steps taken to run in. Did you open an elevated (administrator rights) cmd window?
