Thanks Jimbo and Ken, I think I'm going to wait for now to do this. I am going out of town for a few weeks and will not have time to work on this. Maybe after I get back I will look into it again.
Thanks again, Jeff

How to convert an MBR disk to GPT and move from BIOS to UEFI on Windows 10 | Windows Central
- uses a tool provided in Windows to achieve the conversion and add the EFI partition.
Convert Windows 10 from Legacy BIOS to UEFI without Data Loss | Windows 10 Tutorials
Hi there
@Caledon Ken
on the KYHI disk there's the program AOMI partition assistant (a partition manager) -- you use that to copy the old "C" (MBR Windows" partition to the new "C" partition on the target drive.
after you've done that you need to use the MACRIUM program on the KYHI disk again to fix windows boot problems --it will then create a proper boot manager for the new EFI disk.
@dalchina -- don't trust Ms tools to work flawlessly - they are often overtly complex and yield unpredictable results
My method with the help of KYHI works every time and is so simple I suspect even a youngster who knows how to boot a computer could do it !!!!!..
Cheers
