    Update report 1803 installed


    I installed 1803 and then rolled back, now when I want to upgrade to 1803, "System > Update" reports that it is already installed when it is not, still running 1709; "Update Assistant" is doing the same.

    Hi rdwray

    I would reset Windows update.

    Reset Windows Update in Windows 10

    If that fails to work I would try an inplace reapir / upgrade. The process is non destructiove but I always recommend members backup personal data. If you are on 1803 it is a repair, if on older it is an upgrade.

    1) How are you trying to install 1803 ?

    2) Why did you roll back ?

    A friend of mine had problems with 1803 with the minimize and maximize buttons disappearing. I rolled back two other PCs and didn't have any problems with them, it was just this one.

It used to be possible to do this in Device Manager IIRC, but with Windows 10 installed I can't see how to get a device driver report. Has this been taken away? If so what will produce such a report? Thanks Dave
