UEFI remove unwanted boot entries from BIOS solved easily

Hi folks
with UEFI if you've installed say some Linux versions and you don't want them any more you might still see these at boot if you go into your BIOS boot menu.

Easy way to fix these i.e remove them

1) Go into command mode (run as administrator)
2) type bcdedit /enum firmware (space between enum and firmware

3)Now you'll see a list

4) To delete entries you don't want
type bcdedit delete identifier where the identifier is shown in your list. Include the sigiddly braces { }

Easy -- job done

If you are worried about this just simply backup the EFI partition with Macrium - you don't need to back up the rest of the system. If boot fails because you deleted wrong entry simply restore the EFI partition (it's only 100MB or so - takes seconds with macrium and works -- I deliberately hosed up an entry to test this --restored partition and system booted fine).

I dual boot Windows 10 and Windows 7 (on two separate drives) and on occasion LinuxMint on an external drive. I have the entry ubuntu (P1: Samsung SSD 850 Pro 256GB) upon hitting F8 in BIOS. I have tried your instructions 3 times now in BOTH OS's. I get the message "This operation has completed successfully" only to have it return upon rebooting.
I know it's no big deal. It's just annoying.
Using Easus PartitionMaster, I can find the partition with the EFI entry. It's a 100MB FAT32 partition with the relevant files. Too bad I can't edit those entries.
Any other suggestions?

This doesn't even show up in EasyBCD. Hasleo EasyUEFI shows it and acts like you've deleted it but it's still there in my BIOS boot menu.
If both of my Windows installs had been without UEFI, sure, EasyBCD would have worked. I've used it for years.
I know I'm probably spending way more time researching this than it's really worth. It's just annoying.

Well, don't I feel stupid. After all of the suggestions I have found and tried, on this site and a couple of others, I finally got it.
EasyBCD didn't even show the offending entry so it wasn't any use. I have EasyBCD installed on both Win 10 AND Win 7.
Hasleo EasyUEFI at least SHOWED the entry and acted like it had deleted it. I had EasyUEFI installed JUST on Win 7. I installed it on Win 10 this morning and SHAZAM! It worked!! The ubuntu entry is gone from my BIOS.
20 years of building my own rigs, using everything from Win 95 to Win 10, figuring out how to install XP on an external USB drive (what a tedious process THAT was)and using a dozen different variants of Linux, dual- and triple-booting.....THIS had me stumped.
What a simple, and probably obvious, solution. DOH!

Your solution seems to work only on a Windows 10 UEFI installation. My problem is that I have a standard (CSM, Legacy) Windows 10 installation so EasyUEFI doesn't not works, it displays a message that only works in UEFI. I have been experimented with MacOS X and I have one or two UEFI boot entries I want to delete. My motherboard is Asus P8H61 s1155 and I haven't seen in BIOS any option to delete these entries. So is there any way to do it within Windows, but with Legacy, not UEFI installation? Any help appreciated. Any Asus tool I'm missing?

EasyBCD will show only Windows Boot Loader entries, not UEFI entries.
