Selling laptop, how do I 'reset' Windows 10?

I'm selling my laptop. Is there anyway I can reset windows, or somehow remove my personal information?
I have already backed up everything I need.

It's easy... but painfully slow.

Whilst more complex, IMO it's quicker to download Win 10 using the Media Creation Tool (if you have a spare decent sized USB stick) and carry out a clean install.

Do I need to create the media from the same laptop, or can I create it on one laptop and install it on another laptop?

Except that does not securely erase data unlike a reset option using the secure wipe option.

It is necessary to wipe drive using third party tools like dban, or use the diskpart "clean all" command to be certain that personal data cannot be retrieved.
