Kari, when I try a different user agent, after I click on download the browser goes back to normal mode and it doesn't allow it.

I just tested using Edge. Changed the user agent to Safari, and downloaded an iso which contains install.wim instead of install.esd.

    No problems.

Yup, I've tried it many times. It won't stay on the developer tools Safari (iPad). As soon as I click the download button it kicks it out of developer mode back to regular. I downloaded the .iso from my Wife's iMac without issue, so that's always an option. Just a little mystery. Thanks for testing it.

Were you using IE or Edge? Since updating to 1803 I have found problems like that using F12 in IE with the earlier builds. It seems to work now in 17134.165 though. Edge always works reliably, use that.

I'm running 17134.167 and I tried Microsoft Edge 42.17134.1.0. I really appreciate your response. Sometimes when these things happen, you want to know you're not the only one it's happening to. I try about once a month or so to use this method with Edge, I mostly use Firefox, and it always kicks it out of developer mode.

Yes, but, if using the MCT/Media Creation Tool to get the DVD .iso file or create the bootable USB Thumb drive it still is Version 1803 Build 17134.1. Then the update takes it to Build 17134.81 then the next to Build 17134.165. Finally one can manually get Build 17134.167. Just went through that on Thursday when replacing a bad HDD and needed a clean install. Being connected to the Internet during this time showed Win10 as Activated when done.

Getting an ISO with MCT will currently yield version 17134.112 - I have tried and I have installed it yesterday.

Correct. MS rarely update the ISO the MCT downloads, only if there is a significant reason for doing so. In this case it would appear to be because the initial 17134.1 release had a few 'leftovers' from the Insider builds - notably the Feedback Frequency settings were greyed out and '...managed by your organization'. This was fixed in the 17134.112 build.

    Hi,
You've informed us on this thread that in June Microsoft released an updated version of the 1803 ISO that was released in April. Is there somewhere you can check what the latest released ISO build is and what date it was released? I have the April version of 1803 on a flash drive and Im planning to do a clean install of Windows 10. I wouldn't have known a newer ISO for 1803 had been released to replace the 1803 April version if I hadn't read this thread. Do Microsoft show somewhere on their website when a new ISO has been released? It would be useful if there was a release list to check to see if they have released an updated ISO since you last downloaded an ISO (has they have just done) in between the standard 6 monthly version updates

    Thanks
