can i go back a version
since windows 10 1803 my computer freezes when i use microsoft edge or fiefox I was hoping the later updates would fix bjut made it worse can i go back to the previse version somehow.

For a limited time after upgrading to Windows 10, you’ll be able to go back to your previous version of Windows by selecting the Start button > Settings > Update & security > Recovery and selecting Get started under Go back to the previous version of Windows 10. This will keep your personal files, but it'll remove apps and drivers installed after the upgrade, as well as any changes you made to settings. In most cases, you'll have 10 days to go back.

Have you got the latest updates for 1803 which might have fixed this by now?

Turns out that disabling hardware acceleration on Chrome and Edge fixes the freezing issues when using them.If the first doesn't help, try playing with your graphics driver - latest or older version.had to download and re-install the latest Nvidia driver,
As regards reverting to the previous build:
a. You can clean install it (yes, I know..) - iso's freely available.
b. We constantly and repeatedly urge users to use disk imaging routinely. If you had a disk image of your 1709 build, you could simply restore it. Done. Painless (almost).
E.g. Macrium Reflect (free) + external storage for disk image sets.
Good practise is to update your disk image before and after a major change. Think and act defensively.
