Failed Up-Date, Now Can Not Start Computer

This win 10 Laptop when I started it two days ago, did one of it's "I'm Gonna Up-Date Now" things.
16 Hours later, It is Still telling me how this may take some time.
Finally at the 20 hour mark, figured it will never finish if it has not already so shut it down,

Now can't get it to do anything, Made a Win 10 Boot CD, and have tried everything in there except for reverting back to Win 7,

Nothing else has helped this get working again.

    What can I do?

"Now can't get it to do anything" What does that mean?

"Made a Win 10 Boot CD" How did you do that? What happened when you tried it?

"reverting back to Win 7" How would you do that?

[QUOTE=MeAndMyComputer;1402113]"Now can't get it to do anything" What does that mean?

It means when you power it up (without the boot CD) all you get is a Black screen and nothing else.

"Made a Win 10 Boot CD" How did you do that? What happened when you tried it?
Googled it. Remember all other versions of Windows had the option of making a disc that the computer can boot off up to at least get it started. made one of those.

It allowed me to try to go back to some past reset points, ( did not work)
allowed me to try to auto repair, ( did not work)
and a few other things, but none of them worked.
    System Restore,,,, Nothing
    image recovery,,, nothing
    start up repair,,, nothing
The only other thing left on it is where it says revert back to Windows 7

Revert back to Windows 7?!? Does it LITERALLY say revert back to Windows 7 as an option?

Then I would try reverting back to the previous build.

How long has your computer been running Windows 10?

On the black screen, is it completely black or is there a white cursor in the upper left corner that just keeps blinking?

Do you hear any beep codes at startup?
--- What is the make/model of your computer?

It sounds like your boot CD is working ok as it gives you the expected options which to me means the screen is not black.
--- Would you consider attempting a fresh install?

It was an Win 7 machine, And it did the free up-grade to win 10 that one year, when they gave you the free up-grade choice. What 2 years maybe more ago?

OK without the start up disc, Just black, and NOTHING else in any way.

    Nope

    Acer Laptop, Model "Aspire" 5336-2524

    ONLY when using the disc,

Sure, I guess it's dead now at the moment.

You might try making a Windows 10 installation CD using the Media Creation tool.

    Download Windows 10
