    Just curious


    When Windows 10 is installed on a computer that already has another version of Windows(7,8.1)
    is the original version completely uninstalled?

    Hello Terry,

    It depends on how Windows 10 will be installed.

    If you clean install or upgrade install Windows 10 on top of the Windows 7/8, then it'll replace Windows 7/8.

    If you install Windows 10 on a separate partition or drive than the current Windows 7/8, then you'll have a dual boot with Windows 10 and Windows 7/8.

    You're most welcome.

    You'll also have the option to go back to previous version of Windows if needed for up to 10 days after the upgrade.

I just read on here that after 30 days when upgrading from 7 to 10 all the 7 files will be deleted, is that true? I created my 2nd drive just to upgrade so don't really care if 7 is deleted unless it creates problems. How I actually got Win 10...

When I look at the specifications, it shows these: Hard Drives 1 TB (SATA); 6 GB (Solid State Hybrid); 8 GB (Solid State) Does that mean there are three hard drives or is it three-in-one Hard drive?
