Simple, look at the Details tab for Setup's Properties, it will have the version number. If it say 10.0.17134.1 then it's 1803.

Then look to see if you have an install.esd file in Sources. That's the actual windows install files.
    Thank you.
Detail tab indicates that it is 1803.
There is no install.esd file in Sources folder.

    Questions :
    1. Is that Setup ( see post #1) ok to use since there is no install.esd file in Sources folder ?
    2. The esd folder shows 6/9/2018 (post#4). That was the day I used an iso file to do a repair install. So, why an ESD folder shows up in my C drive ?

This may be a leftover from the update/upgrade process. You could always try to run Disk Cleanup (run as admin) and see if it is expunged by that process. Just a thought, and I hope it's a helpful one.

I have the ESD folder but mine is empty - I always wait a few days after install to check that nothing important to me is Fubar'd, then use the clean up toll to get rid of any install leftovers. If you are happy with the way things are running I would use "Disk Cleanup" with the "System Files Option" to cleanup first then you can either delete the empty folder and wait for the next update

    eh, guess what.
The esd folder is empty now.
What? I did not do it. I have a 600 GB disk capacity with over 500 GB free in my C drive. I don't need to do any disk cleanup except once every 6 months.
Anyway, thanks everyone contributing to this thread.

Interesting that it appears to have disappeared around 7 days after the repair install you did. it could be that is the automatic removal time limit for a repair install and also the reason that the esd file is smaller than is expected, a repair only replaces damaged files
