Instaling Windows 10 on a new ssd drive.. MSI ge72 2qd apache pro

I ordered a new western digital 250gb ssd drive blue for my laptop. I can install the new drive no problem. My question is how do I go about loading Windows 10 onto the new hard drive ? I'm not worried about saving any thing from the old hard drive..A new instal is ok with me.. I do have a usb thumb drive with the media creation tool already down loaded to it.. I have read so many things and watched so many videos on how to do it and they all seem to say some thing different.. What's the best way to go about this ? It's a MSI ge72 2qd apache pro gaming laptop.. thanks In advance for the help..
I'm going from a regular hard drive to a ssd if that helps..

Welcome to the forum first download the lates iso from MS Download Windows 10

At the end it gives an option to create a dvd or usb create which every one you want. Put the new drive in boot from the usb or dvd and away you go if it asks for a serial skip it as it will activate from MS servers.

You say you have the iso is it the latest 1803 and did you let MS write it so it will boot correct

Well here is a link to how to clean install Clean Install Windows 10 | Windows 10 Tutorials
You also could just clone your current drive to the new SSD as long as there not more than about 200 gB of actual data on it?
If so you could just clone to the SSD and then just delete the excess data from the SSD as you'll stil have it on the old drive that I assume you'l be using as a data drive? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZqk...&index=7&t=97s
