After having some on going small problems with 1709, I decided to reinstall 1709. The problems was, The WU was trying to install 1803. I proceeded to hide 1803, but when I did, the WU was disabled. MS made sure that you have to update or lose updates. I bit the bullet and just did a clean install of 1803. Everything is working good, except for IE11. I was getting a lot of not responding before, now it's on a reg basis and all day on multiple sites. So upgrading to 1803 made IE11 more unstable. I even tried to turn off/on with no luck. Tried resetting to default and still doing it. I installed Chrome and no not responding and much faster. Thinking about just sticking with Chrome. Tired of IE problems.

IE is 23 years old. In browser/dog years, that's about 161 years old. Even a massive facelift wouldn't help. Stick with something a bit more modern. There are tons of alternatives.

I use IE regularly and it works fine in 1803 so IE must be the symptom, not the cause of your problems.

Then, you have any solutions/ I've been plagued with this for awhile now and have tried all the tricks to no avail.

...which I read as meaning you had similar problems before you installed 1803. What add-ons do you use? Chances are it's an add-on that's causing you grief. To confirm this, try running IE without any add-ons. To do this, either create a new shortcut on the desktop or use WinKey+R to open the 'Run' box and type the command:

    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -extoff

If IE has no problems when run like this, then you need to disable each add-on in turn until you find the culprit.

How does IE behave if you use the command I gave you to run it with add-ons disabled?
