After 1803 update, windows update trying update to 1803 again.

The 1803 update went through without issue. But now windows update is trying to run the update again. My system shows I am running 1803 17134.48. When I push retry, I quickly see something about unable to download before it settles to show the error code. I have tried Microsoft fix where you command prompt into the update folder to repair them but I get to a point in the process where it says it cannot find a file. Also, the next cumulative update is not going through. After 1803 update, windows update trying update to 1803 again.-update2.jpg

Hi, that's the next update to that build.
    Cumulative Update KB4103721 Windows 10 v1803 Build 17134.48 - May 8 - Windows 10 Forums
That's from the News section here, which includes a thread per update per build, with manual download links, which may help you.

If you search for the error number (a search engine is very useful) you find articles like this:
Solved: How to Fix Error Code 0x80070002 in Windows Update - EaseUS

The suggestions here also occur repeatedly in this forum, which you could search for that error number.

Thanks dalchina. I did search the error which led me to manually download KB4103721. When I run it, it says it's already installed on my machine. I also found I could have a corrupt file in windows update. So I went here and went through all steps. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...-update-errors When running this command, DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth , it reaches a point where it says it cannot find a file, and stops.

In January/February 2018 there were Microsoft updates for Spectre and Meltdown.
Some computers had problems with inaccessible boot device and others had problems with non working USB ports.
Microsoft published methods to remove these Windows updates.
KB4103721 has recently been a problem on some computers.
    These computers had boot problems.
For these computers the troubleshooting step has been to uninstall this recent update.
At this time it appears to be in your interest to not install this update until there is more information from Microsoft.
