    Need help removing Ubuntu

    Hi,

My laptop was setup to dual boot with Ubuntu, I finally got another computer to run Ubuntu so I'd like to remove it from my laptop and use the space it's taking up.

    Anyone know how?

All I can say is I"m glad I had my data backed up, don't know if I deleted the wrong partition (doubtful), but it booted into a minimum grub. No harm. no foul, I'm getting better and better at installing Windows and connecting to my network.

    There you go......LOL.

Dual booting windows and linux is a bad idea for the novice, when it comes time to remove/uninstall Linux as you have found out. It's a learning curve for sure. When I want to try out a Linus distro I either use a USB or DVD and just boot from that. It's called live USB or live DVD. Sure beats dual installing it.

And a Linux live disc/usb etc is great for getting rid of things in Windows that windows won`t let you get rid of :)

    I like Zorin :)
