Feature Update to Windows 10, Version 1803 - Error 0x800f0900

Hi community, I have the same problem (0x8007001F - 0x20006) , but I try to upgrade from version 1607. Do you think I can leave it with this version?

I'm still stuck on the previous version for my stubborn computer. Nothing's changed.

In the mean time I've contacted Microsoft Support and finally a second level support guy found out that it's not possible for this ACER notebook to be upgraded to version 1803.

No, I have not seen any other error apart from these two.

The first one is when I try and update via Windows update, and the second one is when I try and update via an ISO (disc), USB etc. Same as if I go via the Windows 10 update website.
The second error comes up after it reboots. I see 0% for a brief second, then the error, and it restarts and reverts Windows back to previous version.

The installation failed in the SAFE_OS phase with an error during REPLICATE_OC operation.

1) When looking for windows upgrade failure error codes it is always best to use the iso as compared to the typical Windows update. This iso will generate a better error code in that it comes with an extension code.

2) Error codes can be ambiguous. The error code 0x8007001F is typically a problem with a device attached to the computer. This could be external or internal.

3) Open device manager > click view > show hidden devices > manually expand all rows > look for any row displaying a yellow triangle with a black exclamation mark or unknown device > post a share link into the thread using one drive, drop box, or google drive.

4) Run the BETA log collector near the bottom of this webpage:

(extract > open)

5) Update the specs in the "My Computer" section:
System Specs - Fill in at Ten Forums | Windows 10 Tutorials
In the left corner below in your post you find 'My System Specs'.
After clicking it you can find a link a little below that says 'Update your System Spec', click on this link to get to the page where you can fill in your system specs.

Include PSU. cooler, case, peripherals and anything attached to the computer by wired or wireless (mouse, keyboard, headset, printer, xbox, USB wireless network card, etc.)

6) Open the website for the computer manufacturer > enter the product or serial number or model > select the operating system > view drivers > post a URL or hyperlink into the thread

7) Make a backup image using Macrium
Macrium Software | Your Image is Everything

8) Save the backup image to another drive or to the cloud

9) Download and install Everything: voidtools

10) Use everything to search for these log files:

11) For any log files found within the past few days > zip > post a share link for the most recent files into the thread.

12) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:

14) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
15) When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread

16) chkdsk /r /v
This may take many hours so plan to run overnight.
Run the command on all drives using the syntax: chkdsk /r /v C: or chkdsk /r /v D: changing the drive letter to the applicable drive

17) Use the txt and images in this thread to find the chkdsk reports in the event viewer > copy and paste > notepad > post a one drive or drop box share link into the thread

18) If the computer has Ccleaner > click windows tab > scroll down to system and advanced > post an image into the thread

19) In the left lower corner search type: system or system control > open system control panel > on the left pane click advanced system settings
a) > on the advanced tab under startup and recovery > click settings > post an image of the startup and recovery into the thread.
b) > on the advanced tab under performance > click on settings > under performance options > click on the advanced tab > under virtual memory > click on change > post an image of the virtual memory tab into the thread

20) List any antivirus software (always on or manual) and firewall software installed on the computer since the last successful upgrade

21) List any non-Microsoft drive encryption software used since the last successful upgrade
